Surf Contest - April 14

I am so excited about Saturday's Surf Competition. I got my heat placement this morning. First heat, thank god! I can get it over with and then enjoy the rest of the competition. And I am in great company for the first heat as well. Very happy about that!

Namiko sent out the notices for the competition, and has provided the shirts for the competitors. Mine is orange. I was a little nervous when I saw orange, but it is actually a rust/brown, so it is not too bad. I did have to go buy a new bikini however. I did not have anything that would go with it. Found something cute at ETD, that I think will match perfectly. **Sigh** The trials of being a girl. Now, however will I wear my hair?

Rules and Scoring (these are different from the last contest at Chi)

Women and men will compete all together — no division based on gender.
COMPETITORS WILL WEAR COLOR-CODED RASHGUARDS to assist the judges during the competition.
ONE PERSON PER WAVE
HEATS ARE TIMED. Each heat will last for 10 (TEN) minutes.
Scoring will be based on 1) length of ride, 2) tricks, 3) style, 4) technical execution (like hitting the wave at the right spot, right timing).

Surfboard/Equipment/Attachments
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Detach all HUDs, flight enhancers, and AOs ('detach', not just 'turn off'). No other attachments, other than prim hair and minimal jewelry, if any. No bling, please.
-No additional animations to be used at this contest.
-We will supply boards at the comp for you to use on the day.
